York Catholic District School Board announced that to ensure student safety and minimize loss of instructional time due to the solar eclipse on April 8, 2024, all schools will be dismissing students early. April is Autism Awareness month and April 2nd is Autism Awareness Day. On April 2nd we ask that the students wear bold, bright colours to celebrate the spectrum. On the April 26th Civvies Day we ask students to bring in a loonie or toonie and all proceeds will go to Autism Ontario.
On Wednesday, March 27, grade 7 and 8 students, under the guidance of their teachers, Ms. Forcucci, Ms. Mariani and Ms. Weir, will be presenting the “Stations of the Cross”. This re-enactment of Jesus’ last steps will take place in our gym at 11 am, for FDK to grade 3 classes and at 1 pm for grades 4 to 6 classes. All members of the ... At St. Patrick C.E.S., we will be participating in Earth Hour on Monday, March 25 between 2:35- 3:35 p.m. by powering down and turning off all non-essential lights, computers, and electrical devices. During this hour students will have the opportunity to participate in various activities (outdoor classroom/play, recycled crafts, making paper lanterns, storytelling, etc.) to learn about the importance of reducing our use of electricity. ... Join us at the Trisan Centre on Tuesday, April 2 from 5:30 to 6:30 pm for a FREE skate, sponsored by our Catholic School Council! Refreshments, prizes, music and fun are on tap! A reminder all children must be accompanied by an adult and skate with an approved CSA helmet.
