Polar Bear Community Walk

On Wednesday, February 7th, students at St. Patrick C.E.S. will participate  in Winter Walk Day, which takes place across Canada the first Wednesday in February. Our school’s Athletic Council and Healthy Schools Committee have coordinated a Polar Bear Community Walk to encourage physical activity for this event. Students will be walking to the Schomberg Public Library and back to school, where upon returning from their walk, each student will be greeted with a cup of Carnation Rich and Creamy Hot Chocolate (water base) and nut free soft cookie.  If you would not like your child to have a cup of hot chocolate or treat please inform their teacher. An information letter and permission form were sent home, as students  require parent permission to participate.
