April is Autism Awareness month and April 2nd is Autism Awareness Day. On April 2nd we ask that the students wear bold, bright colours to celebrate the spectrum. On the April 26th Civvies Day we ask students to bring in a loonie or toonie and all proceeds will go to Autism Ontario.
On Wednesday, March 27, grade 7 and 8 students, under the guidance of their teachers, Ms. Forcucci, Ms. Mariani and Ms. Weir, will be presenting the “Stations of the Cross”. At St. Patrick C.E.S., we will be participating in Earth Hour on Monday, March 25 between 2:35- 3:35 p.m. by powering down and turning off all non-essential lights, computers, and electrical devices. During this hour students will have the opportunity to participate in various activities (outdoor classroom/play, recycled crafts, making paper lanterns, storytelling, etc.) to learn about the importance of reducing our use of electricity. ...
