What a wonderful week it has been at St. Patrick Catholic Elementary School! We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all of our families who joined us for our Open House this past week. It was wonderful to welcome so many families into the school, connect with our staff, visit classrooms, and continue building the strong home–school partnership that is so important to our community.
🦊 Terry Fox Run – Next Week
We are looking forward to participating in our Terry Fox Run next week in support of cancer research and Terry’s incredible legacy of hope and determination. Terry Fox letter 2026
Families who wish to support our school fundraising efforts can still make an online donation. We also encourage all students to wear red on the day of our run as we come together as a school community to honour Terry Fox and support this important cause.
👕 Civvies Day – Friday
Next Friday will be our first Civvies Day of the school year. We are grateful to the many families who have already made an online donation in support of this initiative.
For families who would prefer to make a donation in person, students may bring a toonie ($2) to school. Donations will be collected in classrooms throughout the day.

Catholic School Council NEWS
We would like to take a moment to recognize our amazing Catholic School Council (CSC) for organizing the Apple product fundraiser, and, most importantly, thank all of our families who supported this initiative. Your generosity and participation make a meaningful difference for our students and school community. Thank you for your continued support!

📅 Upcoming CSC Meeting
Our Catholic School Council meeting will take place next week September 28 @ 7pm (Library) We look forward to welcoming our families and continuing to build a strong, collaborative Catholic School Council that works in partnership with our school, parish, and community for the benefit of all of our students.
🍎 HOT LUNCH NEWS
We are excited to let our St. Patrick’s school community know that our Hot Lunch Program will once again be returning this school year!
We are currently preparing the program and will share further details, including menu options and ordering information, in the coming days.
📌 Important Reminder: As was the practice last year, once the weekly lunch offerings are available, families will need to opt in and place their orders by 12:00 noon on the Sunday before the upcoming week.
We encourage families to watch for upcoming communications so you don’t miss the ordering deadline.
