This annual event takes place on Saturday, January 27, 2024. This initiative raises awareness about the importance of reading and literacy skills, with a specific focus on engaging in activities as a family. Taking time every day to read or do a learning activity with your child not only improves their literacy skills dramatically, but also provides parents and caregivers with an opportunity to build their skills as well alongside their child. The theme for Family Literacy Day this year is, “Let’s Have a Family Party”

SPS Family Literacy Day Contest: Submit a photo of your family completing one of the Family Literacy Activities (from the resources above) and you will be entered into a draw for a $25 Chapter’s Gift Card. Complete the Google Form to enter the contest:
