Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the Lenten season.  Please join us for the distribution of ashes at our Ash Wednesday liturgy, led by our grade 1 students,  on Wednesday, February 14 at 11:00 am. 

Valentine celebrations will take place on Tuesday, February 13, as Ash Wednesday falls on the 14th this year.  We are asking that NO Valentine’s Day treats be brought into the school.   A reminder  that there is NO sharing of food, including birthdays.  We thank you for reading labels and making our school safe for all students.

The day before Ash Wednesday, Shrove Tuesday or Mardi Gras, is also typically referred to as Pancake Tuesday.  On this day, Catholics around the world get rid of ‘fatty foods’ around  the house and any indulgences before the beginning of Lent.
